The agreement between you and DEAL while you use it. Plain words, and the important parts first.
Who we are
DEAL is operated by LOCAL GLOBAL WORLD INC. In these terms, “DEAL”, “we” and “us” mean LOCAL GLOBAL WORLD INC.
Early access
DEAL is in early access. It’s free while early access lasts. Features will change as we build with the founding group, and some things may not work perfectly yet. If we introduce paid plans, we’ll tell you before they apply to you, and you choose whether to continue.
Your account
Give us accurate details, keep your sign-in secure, and tell us at hello@usedeal.app if you think someone else has used your account. You’re responsible for what happens in your workspace, including who you invite and what you share with them.
Your work stays yours
You own everything you put into DEAL. You give us permission to store, process and display it only so we can run DEAL for you and the people you choose to share it with.
Dealbreaker
Dealbreaker reads, drafts, suggests and asks. It never sends, books, pays or agrees on your behalf. Its summaries and suggestions can be wrong or incomplete, so check them before you rely on them.
DEAL isn’t legal, tax or financial advice. For a contract that matters, talk to a professional.
Your deals are between you and the people you work with
DEAL helps you agree scope, fees and terms, but it isn’t a party to the agreements you make with clients or collaborators, and it doesn’t handle or guarantee payments between you.
Using DEAL fairly
Don’t use DEAL to break the law, to upload anything you don’t have the right to share, to harass anyone, or to try to get into accounts, projects or data that aren’t yours.
Ending
You can stop using DEAL at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms, and we’ll tell you why unless the law stops us.
Liability
DEAL is provided as it is during early access. To the extent the law allows, we’re not liable for indirect losses, such as lost profits or lost work, from using DEAL. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have by law that can’t be limited.
Changes
We’ll update these terms as DEAL grows. When a change matters, we’ll tell you before it takes effect. The date at the top shows the latest version.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
